Merry Christmas, Gina and Gene — the palm trees aren't swaying, but the temperature is a balmy 60-something, cool for us in Florida. In fact, I joined friends around an outdoor fire last night, a perfect way to spend Christmas Eve.
Dear Mark - I promised myself that I would not go on the computer today, but here I am. We have a lull in the celebrations, as we are all feeling 'amply sufficient' following our Christmas dinner. Enjoy the rest of the day from H and myself.
I too have taken a break from today's over-indulging to see if there is any activity on the computer, and I haven't even had dinner yet! I am going out later with friends to eat Spanish food, and then a get-together afterwards. And then ... I will be ready to be fitted with a corset!

It's interesting that your attention is drawn to the drum. That was doubtlessly my grandfather's idea because he also bought a drum for his first grandchild, my older brother. It was not a hit with my mother!
Hope you had a great Christmas too, Mark. For us it was such a delight to spend the day with my granddaughter. Nothing like a small child to make Christmas even that much more special.
Hi, Yvette - I can imagine how much fun your Christmas was, sharing it with your granddaughter. It's been about 30 years since I spent a Christmas with kids.
