We'll get back to the progress of the Pompeii Room in the next posting. In the meantime, I hope you are able to extend the spirit of the season, and are enjoying New Year's Day! .
Dear Mark - One of the joys for me this past year has been watching the progress you have made in your Pompeii Room - that is a good message 'do more of what brings you joy' which I shall heed. A Very Happy New Year Mark from us both.
I have a sense that your many excursions around the United Kingdom and beyond give you a lot of joy; I know they bring me pleasure. All the best to you and H!
Hello Mark, 2014 was an exciting year for All Things Ruffnerian, especially with all the jaw-dropping progress on the Pompeii project, and we have every confidence that 2015 will be even more impressive.
Thanks for all your kind words and encouragement — I absolutely love the sharing as much as the designing and painting. Wishing you a happy, healthy 2015!
Well Mark. Another year has come and gone. Only this past year was a little different in that you have created your masterpiece . You must be so pleased with yourself and rightly so. Thank you for your friendship. I feel so honored. Happy New Year to you and wishing you all the best. Warmest Regards, Gina
I spend so much time steeped in history books and time-traveling in my mind, that I am continually awed by the wonder of living in the Internet Age and being able to share with so many far-flung friends and kindred spirits. What a gift to know you and each of the friends in this column!
Happy New Year, Barbara! I have a great fondness for Virginia, having lived in Petersburg, North Springfield, Alexandria and Lake of the Woods (near Culpeper).
'Do more of what brings you joy.' Wise words, Mark. I'm definitely inspired to do just that this coming year. And I hope it will be a great year for you and your family as well. Can't wait to see what next you come up with for the Pompeian Room. Thanks once again for including us in your wonderful project.
Hi, Yvette - I'm glad there's a new project in your life; I don't know if it's one you'll be sharing on the blogosphere, but I wish you success in it, and joy in the doing, too! Happy New Year to you!
Thank you Mark, for your friendship, your encouragement and the superb art you bring us all year long!
