  3. I admire the mellow colour and delicate, modest artwork of this card. It says much about the taste of the time, the purpose of the card, and the situation/circumstances of sender and recipient.

    I have a collection of vintage/ antique postcards, and I find that they have a charm and sweetness often lacking in the large, modern, glitter and foil greeting cards of our time.

    What a poignant Christmas memory....
